| The board of auditors shall meet annually and they shall organize by electing a chairman and a secretary. The auditors shall audit, settle and adjust the accounts of all elected or appointed officials of the township and its boards or agencies that received or disbursed funds of or owing the township during the immediately preceding calendar year.The board of auditors shall determine the compensation for the current year, per Section 606 of the Second Class Township Code, for supervisors employed by the township.Board of Auditors shall complete the audit by March 1st each year.On or before March 10th each year, the auditor shall publish once in the newspaper of general circulation in the township a concise financial statement setting forth the balance in the treasury at the beginning fiscal year, all revenues received during the fiscal year, all expenses paid during the fiscal year and the current resources and liabilities of the township at the end of the fiscal year.
