2012 applications to rent a plot(s) at the Selinsgrove Community Gardens are now available. Click on the Community Garden link in the left column for the new application. If you need assistance or can not retrieve the application, please call our office at 374-4778.

Battram Pavilion
We are currently taking reservations for 2012.

Battram Pavilion is located in the East Snyder Park. The pavilion is open for use to the public, but is available for private use and may be reserved for your event. The 2012 the non-refundable fee to reserve the pavilion is $50. Space will be confirmed and held after receiving payment.
Click on East Snder Park in the left column, then Current Reservations for available dates, please verify availability with Township office (570) 374-4778
before making your plans.
NEW - to reserve the pavilion a User's Agreement is now required.

or go to the Applications for Permits link on the left.

Penn Township Compost Site:
Bring your lawn and garden waste to our compost site at the end of Gaugler Lane, across from the Salem Lutheran church. Use the designated areas for your composting materials. Do not leave bags or other containers behind.
Materials NOT accepted at the compost site:
chemically treated wood products,
Black Walnut leaves/trees,
dairy products,
diseased or insect infested plants,
fats, grease, lard or oils,
meat or fish bones,
lime,
cat or dog waste,
plastic and/or metal,
weeds or weed seeds
any material infected with emerald ash borer
ABUSE OF OUR COMPOSTING SITE EQUALS CLOSURE.
NO MOTORCYCLES OR ATV'S ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY
OF THE COMPOST SITE.
VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
Please call the Township office 570-374-4778 check on availability of mulch or coarse compost for residents.

Watch for changes coming!
One change in effect now is all caps from your #1 and #2 plastics can be recycled. Please rinse and empty all bottles and jugs, flatten and put the cap back on. This will help to keep the bottles and jugs compressed talking up valuable space.
Penn Township Recycling is the second Saturday of each month from
8 am - 12 pm at the rear of Township Building.
Call the Township Office to see if other options are available.
